Support Worker – Casual Position
We're seeking disability support workers to work with our participants. We offer meaningful support focusing on individual goals. As a disability support worker, you will be required to assist participants with their daily living needs which may include community access and recreational activities, personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication assistance, transport and mobility assistance and domestic assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow individual support plans, behaviour support plans & health care plans
- Maintain and monitor a client's support plan whilst modelling a person-centred approach
- Identify and support a range of learning opportunities for our clients
- Observe and document an individual's progress and any changes through detailed note keeping
Qualifications/Requirements
- Cert III Individual Support
- Drivers licence
- First Aid & CPR
- Blue Card
- NDIS Worker Screening
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module & Induction Module
- Roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Smartphone
- Flexibility to work across a varied roster including split shifts, sleepovers & weekends
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
